3. Applicability
3.1 These terms apply to every Order placed through mrcorn.uk.com. By placing an Order you confirm you’ve read and accept them.
3.2 Different rules apply to Consumers (sections marked accordingly, plus statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) and to Business customers (no statutory consumer cancellation right, no short-term right to reject — business-to-business law applies, including the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982).
3.3 If you are buying for a business, please tell us at checkout so we can supply you on appropriate B2B terms.
4. Account registration
4.1 You may place Orders as a guest or through a registered account.
4.2 You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential. Activity through your account is treated as authorised by you unless you tell us otherwise.
4.3 We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, misuses the site, uses fraudulent payment information, or that we reasonably believe is being used to commit fraud.
5. Products, descriptions, and stock
5.1 We take reasonable care to describe and price products accurately, but minor variations may occur.
5.2 Product images are illustrative; small differences in colour, finish, and packaging are possible. For perishable food, the use-by date on dispatch will be at least 5–7 days.
5.3 Stock availability shown on the site is indicative. We don’t guarantee continuous availability of any specific product.
6. Ordering and contract formation
6.1 An Order is your offer to buy. The Contract is formed only when we send you an order-confirmation email (not when the site shows a “thank you” page or when payment is taken).
6.2 We may decline an Order — for example, if the product is out of stock, the price was wrong, or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we’ve already taken payment, we’ll refund it in full.
6.3 You can correct input errors at any point before clicking “Place Order”.
7. Prices, payment, and VAT
7.1 All prices are in GBP (£) and include applicable taxes where shown.
7.2 We are not currently VAT-registered, so prices on the site do not include VAT and we do not issue VAT invoices.
7.3 Payment is taken at checkout by Takepayments, a UK card-payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
7.4 Delivery charges (where they apply) are shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
8. Delivery
8.1 Delivery is by our own vehicles unless we tell you otherwise at checkout. Where we use a third-party courier (for example, for an order outside our normal delivery area), we will tell you and only share the address details needed for delivery — see our Privacy Policy.
8.2 We deliver within our normal delivery area. If your delivery address is outside that area we will contact you before taking payment.
8.3 Estimated delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, unless a guaranteed date is shown at checkout.
8.4 Risk in the Goods passes to you when the Goods are delivered to you or to a person nominated by you to receive them.
8.5 Title to the Goods passes to you once we have received cleared payment in full.
8.6 If no one is available to receive a delivery, please follow the rebooking instructions; we may apply a redelivery charge for additional attempts after the first.
9. Consumer cancellation and refunds (Consumers only)
This section applies to Consumers only. Business customer returns are at §10. Custom work is at §11.
9.1 14-day “change of mind” cancellation — Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
For Goods that are not perishable, not sealed-then-unsealed, and not custom:
- You have 14 calendar days from delivery to tell us you want to cancel, then a further 14 days to return the Goods.
- Goods must be in re-saleable condition; you may handle them only as you reasonably would in a shop. Excess handling may reduce the refund (CCR 2013 Reg 34(9)).
- We refund within 14 days of receiving the Goods back or proof of postage, whichever is earlier (CCR 2013 Reg 34(6)).
- Return postage is paid by you unless we sent the wrong item or it was faulty.
9.2 Items excluded from the 14-day right
Under CCR 2013 Reg 28, the 14-day change-of-mind right does not apply to:
- Perishable Goods — fresh corn, fresh produce, chilled and frozen food (Reg 28(1)(d))
- Sealed food items unsealed after delivery (Reg 28(3)(c))
- Custom, personalised, or bespoke items (Reg 28(1)(b))
- Gift cards
- Items inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery (Reg 28(1)(e))
9.3 Faulty, damaged, wrong, or not-as-described Goods — Consumer Rights Act 2015
- Tell us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund under the short-term right to reject (CRA 2015 s.22). For perishable food, please tell us within 24 hours of delivery while the issue is verifiable.
- After 30 days you have the right to a repair or replacement; if that fails, a partial or full refund (CRA 2015 s.23–24).
- For non-perishable Goods this longer right runs up to 6 years from delivery under the Limitation Act 1980.

9.9 EU Consumers
EU Consumers have equivalent rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) as transposed in each member state. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Business customer returns (B2B)
10.1 Business customers do not have the 14-day Consumer change-of-mind cancellation right.
10.2 Business customers do not have the CRA 2015 short-term right to reject — Business rights are governed by the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, subject to the limitation of liability in §13.
10.3 Business customers must notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery of any short delivery, damage on arrival, or alleged quality defect. We may decline to consider claims notified outside that window.
10.4 The Goods must be returned (or made available for collection) unused and in original packaging, with the original delivery note.
11. Custom work and bespoke orders
11.1 Items in our Custom Work category — branded printing, made-to-order quantities, customer-specified seasoning blends, or any item produced to a specification you’ve given us — are excluded from the 14-day Consumer change-of-mind right under CCR 2013 Reg 28(1)(b).
11.2 We will ask you to confirm specifications in writing (email is sufficient) before starting production.
11.3 Once production has started, change-of-mind cancellation is not possible. Faulty-Goods rights under §9.3 (Consumers) or §10 (Business) still apply.
12. Your obligations
12.1 You agree to provide accurate information at checkout.
12.2 You may not use the site to commit fraud, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, attempt to disrupt the service, or undertake any unlawful activity.
13. Limitation of liability
13.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
13.2 Subject to §13.1, our total liability to you for any single Contract is limited to the price you paid us for the Goods supplied under that Contract.
13.3 We are not liable to a Business customer for indirect, special, consequential, or pure economic loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss of data.
13.4 Nothing in this §13 affects any statutory rights that a Consumer has under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other consumer-protection legislation.
14. Intellectual property
14.1 All content on mrcorn.uk.com — including the Mr Corn logo, product images, product descriptions, branding, and site copy — is the property of Mr Corn Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright and trade-mark law.
14.2 You may view, download, and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference only. You may not copy, redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.
15. Data protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
16. Force majeure
16.1 We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including acts of God, severe weather, fire, flood, power failure, industrial action, civil unrest, war, terrorism, supplier failure, telecommunications failure, fuel shortage, or governmental restrictions (including pandemic-related restrictions).
16.2 Where a force-majeure event continues for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the affected Contract by written notice; we will refund any payment for Goods we have not delivered.
17. Variation
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your Order is the one published on the site at the time you placed the Order.
18. Severance
If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, the remainder of the terms continues in force.
19. Third-party rights
No third party has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
20. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution
20.1 If you have a complaint, please first contact us at info@mrcorn.uk.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 days.
20.2 UK Consumers can also contact Citizens Advice consumer service on 0808 223 1133 or at citizensadvice.org.uk.
20.3 EU Consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
20.4 We are not currently a member of an Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme; we will engage with reasonable ADR proposals in good faith but we are not required to.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
21.1 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
21.2 Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — but a Consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local court.
